Since 1980, Tim Fielbelkorn has been working at the Kiester Coop. Through the years, he’s been involved in almost every facet of the business included the seed plan, grain department, petroleum and LP department, dry fertilizer mixing and wherever the need arose. With his experience in these areas, he is now officially a floater for the Kiester location, going where he’s needed to be sure customers’ needs are met.
“I love the seasonal nature of the work,” he stated. “I like the cycles of spring and fall.” Tim also enjoys the relationships he’s built with the customers of the Kiester location over the years.
With Farmers Coop coming in, Tim sees many positive changes. “Give us a try again. We’re back to a small, service-oriented Coop,” he observed. “The changes does give us individuality as employees and we treat the farmer as an individual, too.”
